Social media sites provide a unique opportunity to network and grow your online business. Don’t throw away this golden ticket by making some mistakes!

1.  Posting long, messy, URLs. Use a URL shortener like usa.gov.

2. Posting too often. Post only when you actually have something significant to say.

3. Not making sense. Post complete thoughts that actually mean something.

4. No picture. You need a profile picture. And it should be a good one. 

5.  Wrong picture. Your profile picture needs to be of YOU, not a puppy.

6.  Being wrong. Check your facts if you’re unsure.

7. Getting political. You’re entitled to your own politics, but they have no business        mixing with your business. Keep them 100% separate at all times.
